Important: When generating components it's first a good idea to understand the basics regarding the default component orientation/rotation that FAB 3000 uses when building components (from Paste/Mask layers)

Here's a small movie tutorial (no sound) just using a mask layer (which should hopefully help how to handle not traditional turns),
