Yes, both FAB 3000 and DFM Now! have the ability to easily navigate all components by their REFDes, Package, Rotation, or any other attribute.
After importing your files, please perform the following:
1. Select the tab "Components" located on the bottom.
2. The components table can be sorted by Refdes, Part Number, rotation, etc. - by clicking the column header.
Note: Once you have sorted the components (by alphabetical order) it's easily to locate the Component Ref Des.
3. Select the component you wish to view, and it will be highlighted.
Did you Know?: You can also select "Multiple Components" simultaneously. Same with the adjacent "Nets" table. https://support.numericalinnovations.com/support/discussions/topics/14000012538
