When I set the "Minimum Clearance: Plated Drills to Copper" test condition to 5.1 mils, FAB3000 does not report any issues, even though I have spacing of 4.9 mils in my design. When I perform this same test, but with the minimum clearance set to 6.5 mils, FAB3000 correctly identifies the 4.9 mil spacing. Why is this happening?

To prevent numerical rounding/errors the DFM Check has a tolerance setting. If you wish to change the tolerance used by the DFM Check, please go to menu: Setup / Options..., and select tab "Default Values". Go to the setting "DFM Check Tolerance" and assign any value you wish (in microns).
Note: At very least I would recommend at least 1-2 microns for the tolerance.
