I can't find how to bring the object back to the center of the screen.

There are a several ways to bring the object back to the center of the screen.:

Go to FAB 3000 menu: View | Zoom | All
Press the "Home" key.
Click "Zoom All" button on the tool bar
You can press the middle wheel button on your mouse and drag/pan image to center of the screen.

Note: Sliding the mouse wheel button up/down will allow FAB 3000 to zoom in/out (using your cursor coordinates as the direction).
