Gerber to DXF and import this way. But DXF comes in as thin lines and circles so require a lot of re-work.

I am trying to import Gerber files into Proteus program.(http://www.labcenter.com/index.cfm)
As this program doesn't read other program Gerber files, I was trying to convert from Gerber to DXF and import this way. But DXF comes in as thin lines and circles so require a lot of re-work.

Thanks so much for your feedback.  By default ACE will output a DXF with outlines.  However ACE comes with several options that you may use during DXF Export to adjust your result.  I suspect your program Proteus would prefer that traces be outputted as Wide Polylines.  See below for a screen capture showing how I might adjust the DXF Export settings:
