I'm having some trouble transferring ace 3000 to another computer. Its giving me and error message. "the directory or file for storing the License file (CDM) is write-protected. I also checked to make sure was a administrator on this computer and I am. 1. Please make sure you "De-Activate" ACE 3000 from your old computer first. 2. What version of Windows are you using (XP,Vista,7)? Also, what version of ACE 3000 are you attempting to install.
1. Usually XP is very flexible, it's Vista that is very restrictive. I searched your activation code on the license server, and it looks good. -- so it's definitely not the activation code.
2. Was ACE 3000 ever on your XP computer before? If yes, I would recommend completely uninstalling ACE 3000 and then install a fresh new version from our website.
