We need to place a logo in silkscreen on a printed circuit board and our PCB draftsman requested the image file in either DXF or Gerber format for import by the Cadence Allegro software he uses. Here's a sample movie tutorial (no sound) which shows how to convert an image to gerber. Feel free to pass this on to your PCB draftsman or someone else who may encounter this problem.
