Select "Gerber" from the Import Format drop down list.
Select "Image" from the Export Format drop down list
Click the 'Next' button to proceed. You will be prompted to select the Gerber files (for importing)
Review the Import Gerber Options. In most cases, you don't need to adjust anything because ACE will automatically detect the optimal gerber settings during import (unless you are importing an older RS-274D gerber file which requires the correct format settings.
Click the 'Next' button to begin import. After importing, you will be taken directly to the ACE Viewer. Note: To export an image, you must be in the "ACE Viewer", because ACE requires the viewer to render the pixels that will be used in the exported images. ACE will automatically goto the Viewer once you have finished imported data.
Go to ACE Viewer menu: File | Export Image...
Choose the Image Format: JPEG
Verify the image area (either Extents, or Display)
Verify the image width size in pixels.
Press 'OK', and select the file name & path for the image.
Cool Feature: ACE can handle unlimited bitmap file sizes, so if you need to generate an extremely high-resolution image, we recommend exporting to a large bitmap first (ACE Viewer Menu: File | Export Large Monochrome Bitmap...). Then use any external graphics program (like Adobe Photoshop, ACDC, The Gimp, etc.) to load the bitmap and save as a jpeg.
