Sorry! nothing found for
Posted over 1 year ago by Simon Garrison
When performing "Reverse engineering" there are no specific steps to use each time. It really depends on the quality of the Gerbers and what other supporting files you have (i.e Drill files, Netlist files, BOM, Centroid files, etc.).
1. The easiest way to find answers to any questions with FAB3000 is to type your questions into the Quick Help feature (located top-right), https://support.numericalinnovations.com/support/solutions/articles/14000027270-how-can-i-get-instant-answers-i-need-help-now-and-can-t-wait-
2. When typing: Reverse Engineer the following links appears which should be helpful, https://support.numericalinnovations.com/support/search/topics?term=reverse+engineer%20fab
Note: Type other features such as "netlist extraction", "build components" to see examples for those specific features.
If possible please let me know ultimately what you wish to achieve with reverse-engineering the Gerbers, and we can assist you further.
Depending on what you wish to achieve, and what files you're starting with -- will determine how much work is involved.
Feel free to send us any sample files and we'll be happy to create a tutorial movie.
Thanks again.
