I extract the netlist from the gerbers, import the external net list and when I try to compare, the software tells me nothing has been imported.

I extract the netlist from the gerbers, import the external net list and when I try to compare, the software tells me nothing has been imported. The netlist you have attached is a PADS netlist (which only has the electrical connection) but doesn't contain the X/Y coordinates. The netlist format FAB 3000 requires to perform netlist comparison must be in IPC-D-356 format. Luckily PADS does haven an IPC 356 Netlist export.
