How do I deal with the non-plt holes on the blind and burried via setup???? As secondary drills do i define them on the layers associated??? Do I delete them on the netlist setup???? For non-plated holes you can perform either of the following:
1. In the Drill Table, you can mark drill holes as non-plated. Goto menu: Setup | NC Tools Table...
Note: This will allow FAB 3000 to ignore these drill holes during netlist extraction.
2. In most cases the Non-plated drill holes don't pose any problems to netlist extraction since they will not intersect any metal areas. However, if you feel it can can potential cause a problem during netlist extraction, you can skip loading the non-plated drill holes, until after the netlist extraction has already been performed.
Note: For FAB 3000 (version 5) we will also be adding a new layer type "NC Non-Plated", which will allow you quickly to assign the entire drill layer as non-plated. Which should simplify this process.
