How do I check the license server status using LMTOOLS?

As a general rule, you should check the server's status any time you change the license.lic file or stop and restart the license manager.

Note: If any users report they canont check out a license, a good place to always start is to insure that the service is running correctly and that there are licenses are available.

1. Select "Server Status" tab.

2. Click button "Perform Status Enquiry".

Note: After a few moments information will appear in the text window - showing which products are licensed, how many licenses are available and which users (if any) are accessing licenses.

LINUX:
To run the server status on Linux, type the command: ./lmstat -A to show all the active licenses in use
