Exporting Blocks. When converting from DXF to Gerber, my DXF file has blocks that I would like to export and remain as blocks. Is this possible in V8, I know I could do this in V6.

Sure.  In Gerber, Blocks can be considered Step and Repeat.

1. During DXF Import, make sure to Uncheck "Explode All Inserts"

2. During Gerber Export Options - Check Use Step/Repeat (when possible)

If the DXF has Blocks then they should remain Blocks (as you have requested).  The resulting Gerber file should be significantly smaller than without Step/Repeat.

Here's a quick demonstration video  (no sound),

Note:  If this wasn't helpful, please provide a sample DXF and let me know the results you expect.

Thanks again.

Best regards,

Simon
