A Matrix Blob is a single zipped file, which contains an optional matrix file (matrix.fm6) plus all supporting CAM files (Gerber, Drill, ODB++, DXF, etc.). The Matrix blob is primarily used to transfer everything required to complete a requested task, over the web in single contained file.

  1. A Matrix file (*.fm6), should be in the top-level folder.
  2. File paths referenced in the matrix file must be relative.
  3. A Matrix Blob can have unlimited sub folders to contain CAM files.
  4. A Matrix Blob without a matrix file will extract all PCB dimensions (default behavior).
