Gerber Layer Types are not all correctly detected in the Auto Load dialog. I am using the command (menu: File / Import / AutoLoad...)

Out of the box FAB 3000 should be able to detect 99% of all gerber layer types - automatically. However most of the intelligent layer type detection occurs during Gerber import processing.

Very Important:  Ignore the layer types displayed in the Auto Load dialog.  Why? FAB 3000 does more than just look at Gerber file names (in the Auto Load ...) during import FAB 3000 will scan the actual gerber files itself and look for clues to determine layer types (such as thermal pads, etc.).  

If anyone has a sample set of Gerber files that FAB 3000 doesn't load all layer types correctly (after complete import), please submit a support ticket and send it to us.   https://support.numericalinnovations.com/support/tickets/new
