I have performed the conversion with a sample DXF file and provided two different tutorials (no sound):

Note:  DXF is unit-less, so during the conversion I assumed the DXF units were "millimeter".

Note:  All gerber results were viewed in our free viewer called "DFM Now".


1.  Perform Join and De-embedding.


2.  Create a separate layer for border layer in the DXF:
