Trying to use my ACE 3000 V5. Opens a window "Update Action Required" if I say NO the old version does not open....

If I say yes, it sends me to ACE 3000 V7 FULL Release (Requires Maintenance) or FREE TRIAL.

How should I proceed?

With older versions of ACE 3000, there are 3 primary causes which would prompt this message:

1.  You may only have installed the older "Demo" version of ACE 3000, and never installed the "Registered" version. To resolve simply install a "Registered" version of ACE 3000 and you'll be fine.

or

2.  A critical ACE 3000 DLL or other critical file has been overwritten or something else has been modified within your ACE 3000 installation.  This may cause unexpected results, such as the license detection to fail, crashing, etc.  To resolve simply uninstall ACE 3000, then reinstall ACE 3000 and you'll be fine.

Note:  If you plan to continue using older versions of ACE 3000 (i.e. not staying current), please make sure to save the installation program somewhere safe should you ever need to re-install it again.  For security purposes, we only keep older installation files for up to one year.  See the following link for more details.  http://forums.numericalinnovations.com/post/where-can-i-download-older-versions-of-your-software-past-one-year-ago-6529984

3.  Everything is fine with ACE 3000, however your license has expired or is invalid. If so, contact sales about obtaining a new license (as you may be using a demo, temporary, or invalid license).
