FAB 3000 V5 and V6 use the exact same aperture rules.  If you're migrating from V5 to V6, you can just copy the rule files from V5 (*.rul) from the folder "aptrules", and place them into the V6 folder.  Hopefully you shouldn't need to create any new aperture rules from scratch.  Here's a Youtube video about aperture rules:
