What's the difference between ACE 3000 and previous ACE 2009?

The feature differences between ACE 2009 and ACE 3000 are the following:
*New!      - STL 3D Import/Export
*New!      - Now supports AutoCAD DWG format!
*New!      - Has Over 100 CAD/3D/EDA Translators Built into One Tool!
*New!      - Save/Open Layer Map File (Layer map files preserve layer settings for future translations).
*Improved  - IGES Export
*Improved  - DXF Export now supports 3DFACES
*Improved  - Gerber Import (arcs)
*Improved  - DXF Import (Handle Invalid Polygons)
*Improved  - Gerber Import (Handle Invalid Polygons)
*Improved  - Enter License Key Dialog
*Over 50 other improvements & bug fixes

Note: Another primary two factors are:
1. ACE 2009 had a base translator package and then you could purchase additional Add-Ons separately like: Viewer, Editing, Tools, and formats: IGES, STL, Large Bitmaps, OASIS.  ACE 3000 now gives you all those features in one package.

2. It was our decision to standardize ACE to one development platform moving forward to simplify ACE development/support and make upgrades less confusing for customers. For example, instead of each year offering ACE 2007, ACE 2008, ACE 2009, etc. and then trying to push the customer to update to each version we decided it would be more advantageous (and less confusing) to standardize on one platform: ACE 3000.
