This rule holds true when converting all CAD formats. However, ACE provides many Tools & Editing features which allow you to modify the geometries before exporting. To change the geometries before exporting to DXF, please try any of these Tools in the ACE Editor:
* Menu: Tools | Merge Overlapping Objects...
* Menu: Tools | Convert to Rectangle
* Menu: Tools | Convert to Circle
* Menu: Tools | Join Lines/Arcs
* Plus ACE contains a full suite of editing commands and many other features.
When your finished editing, goto menu: File | Back to Conversion Setup... and then configure your DXF export.
If you require step-by-step instructions, please e-mail your gerber file to our support team: support@numericalinnovations.com
