CAM Engineering and DFM Questions (1116)

I’m using Mac, and I mostly wanted this program only if I can edit silkscreen logos of my Gerber files…As my Logo doesn’t come out very accurate…Basically, if I can’t fix/edit my Gerber files with Mac.

My goal was to save time by extracting complicated footprints which I did succeed in extracting somewhat but the footprint library it creates isnt portable or native to any pcb packages is it ?

I have pdfs of schematics that I need to create as Gerber files. Can FAB 3000 be used for that purpose?

Problems with loading drill files

I need to change a foot print (Through Hole) for a part on a 2 layer board. I will need to enlarge the drill size and pitch of the part. What is the best way to do this from gerber files.? Also a few traces might need to be rerouted.

The drill file seems to be incompatible since I’m seeing vias holes located outside the PCB perimeter. I’ve tried several different designs, all with the same result. I’m not sure what to make of this behavior. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
